FAQ of Tynee Mini

These are the questions our customers often ask us, we list them for your reference.

Q：What are the advantages of Tynee Mini compared with other brands? 
A: Well. You can compare it with other brands.
● Hobbywing ESC VS other ESC.
Hobbywing ESC（controller） is smoother than LingYi ESC or other ESCs and costs more. When you want the best riding experience, Hobbywing ESC is definitely the best choice. Although many brands are now using Hobbywing ESC, But Tynee's ESC will get better performance and be more durable. Because Tynee's ESC is integrated on the radiator (At present, Only Tynee and Exway have done so finely on the product). Compared with other brands just stick the ESC to the radiator with glue, the heat dissipation effect of Tynee ESC is much better, which will get lower temperature, better performance and less overheating damage.

● Hobbywing belt motors VS other motors.
Hobbywing motor is a big motor brand in this industry. it has higher manufacturing accuracy and reliable quality. So it costs more than other brand's motors. 

● Belt motors VS hub motors.
Tynee mini use the 2*875W belt motors. while many other brands use hub motors. Belt motors will have more torque and more comfort than hub motors. And it has better control experience than hub motors. You can also use different wheels on the belt motors. So the cost of belt motors is much higher than hub motors, but it is worth it because you will enjoy a better riding experience.

● 8.7Ah big battery VS other small batteries.
Tynee Mini uses a big 8.7Ah 313Wh battery which will help you get a long range. up tp 22 miles (35 km) range. while most brands only provide 6.0Ah 216Wh small battery which will get much less range. Because the battery will decay as time goes by. the range of a small battery may be enough but after it decay it will be not enough. So if you get a big battery. even if the battery decays. you still have enough range so you don't have to replace the battery.

● Evolve deck supply's deck VS other poor quality deck.
Tynee mini uses the high quality deck made by the same deck supply with Evolve. And it has the same concave with Boosted mini-x. It has great foot feeling and higher strength. The price of Tynee mini deck is much more expensive than other brands mini decks. That's why many other brands choose to use poor quality decks produced by unknown deck suppliers, which are much cheaper but have poor foot feeling and easy to break.（You should have seen a lot of broken decks on many brands, but you rarely see broken decks on Evolve.）

Q: Belt motors or hub motors? Which one to get? 
A: It depends on your demands. If you have enough budget and want better riding experience ( more torque and more comfort ). Get the belt motors. If your budget is limited and you want a simple board or you don't want to replace the belt. Get the hub motors please. Overall, the riding experience of belt motors is better than hub motors. 

Q: Do you have a brake pad? Is it pre-installed?
A: Yes, Now all the Tynee mini boards are pre-installed with brake pad. You don't need to buy brake pad by yourself. 

Q: Is Tynee mini more stable than other brands of mini board at high speed?
A: Yes, Because Tynee mini has longer distance between the two truck baseplate than other mini boards.

Q: Why do you separate the battery enclosure from the ESC enclosure instead of making them together?
A: Because this is simple and easy to improve the water-resistence of battery. And it will be easy to upgrade to bigger batteries (like Molicel 10.1Ah) in the future.The one whole enclosure is difficult to upgrade bigger batteries in the future (due to limited space).

Q: I've seen many brands' deck break. Will your deck break? 
A: Well, There are many brands using poor quality decks, when you jump on the deck, the deck may be easily crack. Tynee can't guarantee that all our decks won't break, but Tynee must be one of the brands with the least deck breakage (Will be less than 0.1%), because Tynee uses the same deck manufacturer as Evolve, which produces one of the best quality decks in the world.

Q: Many brands of Eboards have speed wobble at high speed. Will Tynee mini have the speed wobble? 
A: No, Tynee mini don't have speed wobble even at high speed. Speed wobble is very dangerous and can be life-threatening in severe cases. The reason of speed wobble is usually that the truck structure is too flexible (such as Paris V2 is too flexible and causes speed wobble) or the truck is poor quality. Tynee PE truck is upgraded from Paris V3, which is very stable in structure, and we use T6 heat treatment to increase the strength. If you don't know which truck has no speed wobble, you can choose Tynee PE truck.

Q: Tynee's enclosures looks like plastic. Will they break easily? 
A: No, It won't. Because Tynee uses high-strength nylon and fiberglass material, it is different from ordinary ABS or PC materials used by other brands. The price of nylon and fiberglass  is 2 to 3 times that of ordinary ABS or PC, and its strength is several times that of ordinary ABS or PC. Tynee hasn't received any feedback from customers that the enclosures are broken because we do use the best materials.
