Hi,
Today I received the tynee stinger gear drive.
It was love at first sight! It is my first electric skateboard.
I took it for a spin of 25km today. In the beginning was a bit sketchy because I have no experience at all . But after 10-15km it became qoute a natural feeling. At 20km I got a bit to confident and made a small mistake to push the throttle back when going 40km/h. Result i was kicked off the board. Good I had my helmet on . Besides some scratches I am ok. Next time I will take some extra protection.
It is so fun to do. Thank you Aiden to produce such a fine board. I would recommend it for everyone.
Regards,
Jeroen

Tynee's stinger exceedingly met my expectations. I'm coming from a Lacroix Prototipo so you know I prefer speed over carving. Carving is buttery with the DKP setup. I purchased the TKP baseplates for faster sessions. I love this board. It is the perfect cruiser IMHO. It is stable, quick, agile, and the perfect size. Not too big Not too small, and no range anxiety! Customer service is also very responsive and accommodating. Tynee now has another loyal customer. Now if it would only stop raining, I could test out these riptides! Stay safe!
Michael !.
5/5 Would buy again!
Pros:
-Tynee dosen't skimp on battery size or motor power
- Latest ESC lets you fine tune breaking & acceleration
-Stinger is the best value for your money if you want a cruiser! (I did a good amount of research)
- Love that it ships with the tools needed to make adjustments or upgrades!
-Climbs hills like nobody's business. I was about to buy the meepo flow but did more research and settled on this. so glad I did!
Cons:
-Rides very tall, I know this is common for eskates but the 1" riser is alot for me. I am very light so was able to go down to approx 1/2"
- Coming from a regular longboard, the stance feels short on a cruiser. I will get used to it, I am still glad to have a shorter board without sacrificing any power or range :)
notes:
-Yes boards are made in China but Aiden works very hard to provide good support he answered all my questions before and after buying + the board shipped from a warehouse in my country so it was pretty quick!
-I tried to upgrade the board with no experience. I should have done just lower risers first but decided to upgrade to the Omni Esk8 trucks as well after seeing someone else do it on reddit (yeahh...) - it took a long time because I haven't even worked on a regular skateboard in years but it worked and I am very happy with the results. Only issue is I had to remove the motor guard until I can find some standoffs to add for the slightly wider trucks.

This is my first review on the Tynee Stinger. I've ridden it for about a year now and traveled 600-700 Miles and have put it through the ringer with it stock right out of the box with no improvements. And i have to say how amazingly constructed and well put together this thing is so where do i start? The stinger is very stable no matter if it's a bump bad road or bad sidewalks this board will not spin out or throw you off, this is amazing coming from other boards where one little hit and your gone. The wheels are very grippy and I've never had them slide out underneath me only when I'm making HARD turns so be aware of that. The board is also super durable ive driven off curbs went over ponds skated in the rain (not recommended) and have skated on the worst roads imaginable and it still runs! It will take a lot for you to take down the Stinger! And the range the board has it's honestly very impressive even if your always going high speeds you can go from point A to B and back with no issue on battery as long as you don't really go too far with it. You won't have range anxiety at all which is always a huge plus! Though the board is a bit heavy. But honestly i do not mind the workout even though it's a bit heftier than the Mini i do not mind the weight. My Tynee is all worn down so it doesn't look as good as everyone else's that's what 700 miles can do to you but to be used is to be loved and i love the Stinger everything about it is perfect and it really needs more love on Tynees store. The stinger will forever be there for me when i need to be somewhere if something ever goes wrong with my transportation and has never failed me even in the worst of times! You should defiantly buy the Stinger if your looking for an Electric skateboard as the Stinger is a good beginner/intermediate board you can buy!

Where do I begin. I've wanted an e board for years now. I am nearing 30 and I thought it was all down hill from there. Thanks to tynee, downhill has never been more fun. The acceleration is mind boggling. The braking is strong and accurate. I live up on a steep hillside and it takes me up and down with ease. Build quality is top notch. In fact, I priced out building my own and tynee has better specs for a better price than I could find just about anywhere. Battery life has been extremely impressive and the torque is insane.
I am currently waiting for the gear drive system to arrive. Can't wait to try it.
Truly, if you're even slightly considering getting an e board, tynee is money well spent. I will absolutely be buying from them again.

The stinger is an amazing board! This is my 2nd Tynee board, I’m a happy customer and the customer service is great too!
Adam L.
Great board
Does everything it is supposed to and really well. Have not got off it.
CJ L.
Originally bought a mini 3 pro, with the idea that I’d maybe swap in the stinger deck. Ended up trading with someone who recently bought a stinger (as they wanted something smaller, i.e. the mini 3 pro. ), and I just never got around to swapping the deck. Anyway, took our the thick riser as i didn’t like the ride height, and man, I gotta say, this is my favorite board I’ve owned (and I’ve had a metro boardx, kaly, Hoyt, meepo, backfire boards). I realized “smedium” is the ideal board size I’ve been going for, and this hits the spot. Not too heavy for me, but it’s naturally carvy, but also very comfortable to ride on. The power is all there when I need it, and it’s got solid range for this category. Legit glad I was able to swap with another customer, and we were both able to get what we were looking for.
Teddy P.
It’s great! Really fast I had to get used to the torque at turbo mode I switched to tkp baseplate and it feels a lot more stable at high speeds.
Maximilian S.
The best eskate I’ve ever seen!
It is sooo much fun to ride.
The DKP trucks make it nimble and carvy but also stable enough for high speeds.
As for range - I exceeded the advertised range by about 11km on my first ride, with an average speed of 22-25kph and mixed terrain + a lot of smal hills.
The Build Quality is very good with a lot of love for the detail.
The motor power is more than I need but nice to have the little extra for longer / steeper hills
The wheels are also great as they absorb vibrations pretty well. Only downside of the wheel is I already chipped one a little bit riding over rocks (but I guess it is because it’s not meant to go off-road)
Also the customer service is the best I ever experienced - fast answers and super helpful and friendly.
All in all I can recommend everyone to get a Tynee board!! It’s by far the best boards for the price.
I plan on getting an off-road board too because I absolutely came to love this brand.
Keep it up Tynee - you’re absolutely awesome
Diogo L.
Definitely one of the greatest skateboards I ever had
shayne i.
Great board heaps of power , could say even too much power . Not for the faint hearted.
John M.
Yep, that’s my Explorer next to my Stinger. I bought the Stinger after about 30mi on the explorer and had so much fun. It’s a completely different board. Turn radius is much smaller and carves like crazy. Definitely more “difficult” to ride because it leans much harder than the explorer but carves beautifully and smoothly. It also trains balance quickly as it’s far more demanding. But nonetheless, once you’re warmed up this board is incredible for slow carvy cruises. Makes you feel like a pro! Switching to another skateboard after riding the stinger and you’ll be whipping around the other board like you’ve been riding it for years.
Super happy about this purchase. I did not expect to own two boards so quickly but I’m glad I did. Super satisfied with this board. The only thing I would like to see on it are swappable batteries. I’d love if this was a bit lighter and more portable for travel.
christopher d.
I put about 300 miles on the Stinger so far, very happy with it. To anyone worried about stability, make sure to really tighten the rear and leave the front loose to your preference. Happy shredding all!
Yacine F.
I am blown away by the level of performance and tweakability of this board. The range is insane, the acceleration can be dialed down, and breaking toned down or dialed up to full on wheel locking if you prefer to live dangerously. The bushings and DKP trucks are a magical combo, and you can/should losen the front bushings to really have fun at lower speeds.
Now for a few very small nits that can make it better: the bearings aren't great and the front left wheel wasn't sounding or feeling right until I inspected and changed out all the bearings for some bones swiss. The battery bolts either came a bit lose or loosened while riding it the last week so make sure to check all the bolts every once in a while especially if you ride on rough pavement. I greased the pivot cups and bushings to get rid of noise from the trucks when carving. Also, the 105 boosted wheels need breaking in before it feels right.
Congrats Tynee on one of the best boards I've ever purchased!
Nathan M.
this is my third electric board and i absolutely love it. first time using a tynee board, and the quality is great. would definately recommend.
James C.
Sick!!! Carves pretty smooth going 20-25. Boosted wheels are grippy and smooth. Love everything about this board.
Vincent K.
I was waiting for this package like a child and i am very impressed by the qiality and performance of this Board!
Customer support was super helpful when i asked about the delivery. If you want a custom setup just ask! If you wand a carvy little powerhouse go for it. The ride feel smooth and there is tork for days. Im thinking about getting the offroad kit for it soon.
Thanks Tynee keep up the good work!
Leviathan1 H.
Love this board! It's my first Eskate. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and already put 400 KM on it. It's almost scary how powerful this thing is! The boosted 105s grip like magic and the DKPs make the board incredibly surfy. Great Job Tynee. This is an incredible piece of technology you've created
TEMEMI H.
This is my first Eskate and I'm loving it. I bought it as a commuter and my ride to work is just over 20km so the range was big draw for me. I was originally considering the Meepo Flow but man am I glad I opted for the Stinger! The board is crazy powerfull and such a thrill to ride. It carves beautifully and feels really stable even into the 40ks/h. The boosted 105s grip great on streets and handle rough bike paths and sketchy terrain very smoothly. I've only had the board 2 days and I've put over 100km on it already! Thank you Aiden and Tynee for this incredible board!
Johann C.
The Stinger is awesome! Powerful and bold. It allows for some aggressive riding and it’s super responsive. Perfect for carving. I’ve been able to make some really sharp turns and the kick tail adds so much more maneuverability.
Elliot H.
Honestly i was in two minds between the Stinger and the Mini 3 Pro. Originally i had the Evolve stoke (The board that pretty much started this design) I love the evolve but it greatly lacked the range & power to keep up with todays journeys.
Originally i wasn't sure if the Mini would meet my Carving needs, So i played the purchase safe and went for the Stinger. Honestly doesn't feel as heavy as it should. Nearly identical in physical size to the Evolve Stoke.
Overall i'm in love with this board, Very happy with the service, delivery and overall quality.
Douglas M.
Great overall experience! From the moment i received the board, I’ve been on cloud 9 riding this board around and the range is great! Perfect for NYC commuting. Can’t say enough great things about my new stinger.
Stuart C.
Very pleased with tynee stinger it's very fast
Ciaran A.
Best electric skateboard I’ve ever owned. Customer service, the best again. Aiden is terrific. Fast & full replies daily. To the board, it is a master piece. Looks, range, power, durability, all there. Tynee is no.1 . It would take something wild for my next board to not be a Tynee.
James r.
This set up 10/10! Especially for bigger boys and girls. Im 6’1” 110kg and this thing absolutely flys with me on it, even up hill in speed 2. Plenty of power and range. Add a waterborne Surfskate adapter for more manoeuvrability in tight slow speed turns and is still stable at 35kph with it on
Could not recommend this enough and is definitely better value than other brands with similar models for similar price
Gregory G.
This board is absolutely tremendous!!!
I personally like it much better with out the riser pads(I went with 6mm) and took off the belt covers. Also suggest getting a foot stopper It changes everything when carving at high speed!
danghelo l.
the board quality was really good, Coming from a evolve stoke ,this really was just the perfect form of my ideal short board. The customer service was really good though got some delay with the shipping.
Andrés P.
I received my Tynee Stinger last Friday, the board is a beast and the whole experience with Tynee was great I totally recommend doing business with this company. I'm a 52 years old surfer and I moved to Canada 10 month ago I live by the ocean but sadly there are no waves , the Tynee Stinger brought back the stoked in my life, of course is not like riding a wave but does the trick. Thanks Tynee !
Marco A.
The Stinger is a beast . I bought the LE first , liked it so much that I had to buy the one w bigger battery too . ( in case it sold out )
So much power, the carving is delightful , the soft wheels really grip the pavement . Aiden and his team definitely got it right , the Stingers are amazing boards , both the LE and the 544wh .
Dustin C.
Great board all around. I got the LE but it's still very quick. Acceleration is great and top speed is about as fast as I'd ever want to ride. The double king pin helps with tighter turning and you can tic tac a small bit with the tail for course correction. The board shape allows you to bump over cracks just like a push skateboard. I plan to upgrade the 90mm PE wheels so that I can ride on rougher paths.
Willie N.
I’ve been using it since the first day I got it, and I only need to charge it once every week. Risers made the board really high off the ground, but I get why they made it that way. Definitely worth the price!!
Sergei S.
Super board! Very powerful, good range, interesting deck. Heavy, but worth it.
Thanks for a good product))
brad h.
So much fun to ride, tightened up the trucks on arrival, so much speed, battery life, and joy. I would recommend this to anyone.
I live in Melbourne and it mates life very easy to get around, from place to place while enjoying the scenery and experience’s this place has to offer.
Tynee stinger is an epic board.
Scott C.
Check my social media out for future Tynee content. @electric_everyday
My first eskate I decide to go with the Tynee stinger Le. So far it is a blast! As someone who put thousands of miles on sector nice DPK (sidewinder) longboards. It’s hard to describe the feeling of an eskate other then AWESOME!!
Will see as time continues if I wish I had gone with the regular stinger. The added range may have been nice to have with the sacrifice of weight. The power on the le is plenty for me at the moment even tuned down power level 1 and 2 for those nice cruising moments. Thank you Aiden for bringing the STOKE an excitement back to me and PEVs!
Vincent A.
This is a great board rides like a Dream i Got it in only 6 days there where some proplems with the wheels they did not have Them i wantet and i had to wait 2-3 month to get it with the wheels i wantet but instead of letting me wait they contacted me an gave me an option to upgrade my board for a little extra so im happy that i could get my board fast thank you
Cory S.
Let's talk issues first; I got 2 defective boosted 105 wheels which the back bearings would fall out (just plopped in and out instead of being firmly secured). 70 miles in (which is very short for how I ride), both pulleys had many pressure cracks and one was broken through (from regular riding). After some frustrating communication (which Aiden said was not him but an "unprofessional girl colleague") Aiden made it right by sending me replacements of the 2 wheels and pulleys. I'm waiting for their arrival so until then I can't ride it...Issues aside, the board is a lot of fun. Carves fantastically even with stock setup. But still stable enough for me to go top speed without worry(though I'm skilled with 20 years of skateboarding experience). Compared to the Mini 3 Pro it's a little bit slow in acceleration but much quicker than the Mini 3 (I have them all). It is quite hefty but I can still lug it around, though not comfortably. I don't mind the height of the board whatsoever (many people complain about it). I very much like the deck (size, look, and feel). I seem to get about the same miles per ride on all 3 boards which is very surprising since they are all different size batteries (the different weights and aspects seem to even them out) that range is 17-20 miles (I do ride more extreme than most). I like the Mini 3 Pro Esc more than the Stinger as it seems to be a bit smoother, but they are both very nice. If I could only have one, it would be the Mini 3 Pro though (the size and thrilling speed, even after 600 miles I still have rides where I say to myself "man, this thing is bad ass!"). I can tick tack the Stinger fine and even manual, but it's harder than the other 2. The boosted wheels are by far the most comfortable and best wheel I've ridden (feel wise), hopefully they hold up. Despite the frustrations of faulty parts and waiting, I do love the Stinger and wouldn't want to go without it as it's a lot of fun to ride and has a unique feel that is lovely. I love Tynee as a company and their boards have been flawless, until these slight snags. Hopefully the replacements take care of the issues. Easily 5 stars if it weren't for the frustrations. Tynee is my #1 go to for electric skateboards. But I may try the Acedeck NYX-Z3 next
Hubert K.
I think that a few things are designed not sensibly, these engines at the back and the tail are not a good solution. I had to pay additional shipping costs about which I was not informed I'm still testing the board for now, it works very well, the workmanship is good and the look is amazing, it fits very well on my feet, but I will definitely change the board in the future because of the solution with the tail. so far everything is fine
Audrius L.
I know there’s a handful of us who do things with our boards that the manufacturer does not recommend doing, and the fact that Tynee still makes them able to do it is just mad. Tynee Stinger - the board that can.
Marco A.
1st time I try a DKP board, amazing carving and turning ratio, but also very stable at high speeds , chose the LE , 2 kilos lighter and still a very good range , plus I'm pretty light , I don't need super powerful motors.
Very nice board , installed cloudwheels and it helps with cracks and so. Haven't been able to use as much as I'd like to , weather in NY has been pretty bad.
Claybourne J.
Awesome board by Tynee to get out and explore. Love the Tynee experience!!!

Rafael V.
As much as I love my mini 3 pro, the stinger has my heart won! I love carving on it and the range/power is fantastic. No doubt that this is my favorite board of all time. There’s a reason that I keep coming back for Tynee boards and it’s because the quality and customer service is incomparable. I love that I can ride stable at high speeds and also carve like a maniac when I want to. I bought the stinger feeling like it was one of the best mid boards on the market and I was not disappointed. I don’t mind the extra weight at all. The power, range stability and carving is what sold me on it. I can’t recommend the Tynee boosted 105 wheels enough. They are so grippy and absorb almost anything that gets in my way. My cloud wheel discovery have been collecting dust! 100% satisfied with every Tynee product I have purchased ❤️
Trippy S.
The stinger le is great I use it to commute and to plain have fun and surf the pavement . The mini for a nice local cruiser.
Alan A.
The Stinger is absolutely amazing! Had it for about a week now and put on 20+ extremely fun miles so far.
Marek B.
Amazing board...One motor failed after a few kilometers...Customer support gladly resolved the issue with me and sent a new motor...I can recommend
Robbie S.
I’ve owned over 7 electric skateboards since the boosted board and this board has the best performance by far. It has excellent acceleration and a ridiculous top speed. I’ve never had so much fun on an electric skateboard! This is my second board from Tynee I still have my Mini 1 and it runs great because Tynee know how to build a great board. Plus their customer service is the best in the business in case you have any issues with your board. I highly recommend Tynee and the Stinger!
Alfredo A.
Great board. Has a lot of power and torque and I actually did a wheelie trying it out the first time. I’d recommend using the lower speed modes to get a feel of the board before going up. Besides that it rides great, I like that the board turns on and off with the remote. So far no complaints. Great board and great company.
malik j.
Fast board. Recommend being careful at high speeds due to the Double king pin trucks. Over all amazing product. Also enjoy the remote off and board turns off as well. Recommend with everybody to tighten all screws just in case any is lose naturally.( for any board) Love this board great range .also the bash bar too. Thanks tynee. added a video
Daniel R.
nice carving board with big power... i customized it with caguama wheels, riptide bushings and lower riserpads...
Teyshon B.
I bought two of these boards. One for my girlfriend and the other for myself. We absolutely love these boards. We added a little glitter glue to the edges to add a little personality to the boards. We have no problems with travelling around town with them. Bumps and cracks in the road are not a problem. The ride is so smooth. It reminds me of snowboarding with how smooth the ride it’s and how fun it is to carve any turn. I’m going to be buying anther one for my older brother who got me into snowboarding. I know he would love it just as much as I do. Honestly can’t think of any complaints with the board besides not buying one sooner! Tynee may have cracked the code on creating the best electric board!
Cordero B.
This is one of my first electric longboards and I am loving it so far. The board has a great shape and concave. The DKP trucks are fun for carving non stop. I weigh 220lbs and in speed mode 2 (15mph) I can achieve around 26 miles with non stop throttle on slightly hilly terrain. This is great range for such a small overall size. I generally only ride around 12 to 15 miles at a time so this allows me to ride steep terrain and high speeds without fear of running out of juice. The 105mm Hydro wheels are ok. The wheels grip quite well and get over challenging terrain fine, but they do not provide much road dampening less than some urethane wheels I have on other boards . I plan on buying the 140mm airless wheels soon because many of the roads I ride are chipseal or worse. When riding smooth asphalt the wheels perform fine. Lastly I have only had the board 12 days as of writing this review but have already put 147 miles on it. Everything has excided my exaptation's so far. Only time will tell how well everything holds up but I am quite optimistic. Shipping was also really fast and well packaged.
Steven C.
Absolutely a blast to ride. As a lifelong skater I had no problem adjusting to this board within a single session. Now I’m ripping at around 20-30mph consistently. The wheels on this thing are amazing, too. I will definitely be sticking with this style of wheel going forwards.
Ludwig S.
It's pretty great! It has great range and speed for me.
Only things I will change are the wheels. The rubber ones feel pretty stiff and don't really soak up any vibrations.
Also the deck I will swap to an Omakase.
Other than that, it carves beautifully. Much love to Tynee ❤️
Please send me one of them fireproof board bags now Tynee.
David Jose
Congratulations to Aiden and all the people involing on this project, Tynee Stinger is my third esk8 and definitely is the top number one, just love it!!! I will try son new set up off wheels like off road. I recommend!!!
Nick C.
Ordered this and it arrived in 3 days to the UK! I couldn't believe it. Perfect condition, it's on charge now I cannot wait to use it.
The board looks high quality and came with emailed very detailed user manual.
So exciting!
Michael B.
Super fun board! It works well with the Waterborn Surf Adaptor.
Luka K.
This is my third board in a row... Something completely different from the others, extremely strong and sick. It simply bursts with power, on the biggest hills it goes like an arrow, it is impossible to hold full throttle...I drove it on the steepest hill at 40 km/h with half throttle, I didn't dare to go full throttle. The most brutal thing so far...some other dimension!
Bellil W.
this board is simply the best kicktail board on the market. bigger quality battery, bigger motor, bigger esc, on a perfectly sized deck. for guys who like boards with a kicktail, you won't find better.
cronic g.
Best board and ride comfort. Power and torque is just right. Great thanks from Canada and happy summer ⛱️. #thankstynee
Lucas M.
This board is so sick. It is my first electric skateboard. I wanted something similar to the classic sector 9 DKP carver board and this is exactly it. Took me a day to dial in how loose o wanted my trucks and now I can do endless carving on this board. Wheel traction is superb, speed acceleration are incredible, and the app is easy to use to adjust your settings. If your on the fence about this board vs on of the cheaper ones consider this a thumbs up to go for this one. Happy shredding. This board absolutely rips so be careful accelerating too fast !!
Josh K.
Great board, I love the slope of the deck and got heaps of support from tynee to set up the app. Has 4 cutomisable speed profiles and I got 40kms on one charge which being 80kgs and averaging 35 km/h. I would reccomend to anyone.
Rafael V.
I absolutely love this board! It’s very powerful, high quality, sturdy and meets all my E skateboarding needs AND WAY MORE! It came ready to ride and I can’t get over how comfortable the cloud wheels are. The carving is what I fell in love with the most! This board has brought so much joy to my life and has evolved my passion for E-Skating. Thank you Tynee.
Jon M.
Bought the Stinger, had a bit of delivery trouble, but the board itself is an awesome little thing :)
Craig S.
Very fast, dkp allows you to turn almost too sharply. Love the board.
James K.
Tynee has done an AMAZING job with this board. Carving on this is a DELIGHT, though I am still getting used to the DKP trucks (coming from an RKP, what a night and day difference). High speeds are easily attainable on this, though would need to take extra caution because of the trucks. Regardless, one of the best boards I've ridden.
