I recently got the Tynee Mini 3 Pro, and I honestly love it. It’s super performant and really stable, even at high speeds, which is awesome. The remote has a good interface that’s easy to use, and the battery lasts long enough for me to go pretty much anywhere I want. The brakes are also amazing—they work really well.
Even though the belts break a lot (I’ve already gone through three in a month and a half), I realized I could adjust the tension by loosening the bolts a bit so the belts aren’t as tight, and that helps. But if you want the best setup, definitely pick up the gear drive. It connects the motor directly to the wheels and it doesn’t break easily. It’s more expensive, but it’s totally worth it.
And honestly, what I love the most is the customer support. Every time I had a problem, they responded in almost a day and helped me with everything. It’s incredible how fast and helpful they are! I definitely recommend this board to anyone who loves electric skateboards.

Love this board! I had a different electric shortboard for a couple of years, but prefer this one. The concave on the deck is just right - not too much. The acceleration and braking are great. I love that the board automatically turns on when I turn the remote on. Love the nose guard. I live in a very hilly area, and while I could always use more power on the hills, the board handles the hills pretty well. Overall, I'm very pleased!!

Hello everyone! I have 3 years of riding experience. My previous skateboard from another manufacturer had 1200W with hub motors. The Mini 3 Pro is a very well-balanced skateboard with parameter settings available through an app. Being a model car enthusiast, I was already familiar with Hobbywing's products, which further solidified my choice.
I'm a lightweight rider, weighing just over 70 kg and a bit over 40 years old, so I set the acceleration to 30% in the settings—an optimal choice for a "smooth start" for me. The speed picks up very quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the brakes. Braking is very smooth and predictable; I've never been thrown off the board, even during full wheel lock-ups.
The stock Boosted wheels are soft and absorb vibrations well from asphalt mixed with stones (we call such asphalt "peanut" here). Even on paving slabs, it doesn't feel like your teeth are going to fall out. The motors' power reserve allows for very dynamic acceleration, and the noise from the belts isn't as loud as shown in many videos.
Pros:
- Powerful motors
- Excellent brakes
- Good maneuverability
- Rear light with two lighting modes and brake indication
- Ease of changing wheels compared to hub motors
- Large range: despite frequent elevation changes in my area, a full charge lasts about 35–40 km, which is still an impressive result
Cons:
- It's not light :) With my height, it's not very convenient to carry it by the front "handle"
- Really missing a front headlight in the factory configuration
- In my case, there was a long shipping time that I wasn't warned about

I like the board. the torque power and range is impressive though the range is not quite what it said it was. I'm only getting about 21 miles instead of 31 but that's not such a big deal. I want you to understand I've had a exway wave for the last 3 years and I wanted a new board because the range and the power and the torque were not sufficient. That being said you should look at that board and make adjustments for the future with the tynee because the kick tail, especially, is bigger and better on the exway and easier to use. it's hard to kick turn on the tynee mini and it would be better if it was enlarged. Additionally if it had a clear Puck on the tail so that the light could shine through better and a bigger light with more options for color etc like the wave, would be great, and a built-in headlight controlled by the remote like the wave has. if you did all these things, the tynee would be unmatched on every level. I truly hope you make these changes for the tynee mini pro 4 din. Thanks Osiris

Great board with tons of torque. The compact size pairs great with the waterborne surf adapter. Makes turning in small city streets much more enjoyable. The delivery was also very quick and the support staff was really attentive. I haven't had it for long and I already purchased a second board (mini SL) for my partner.

Best thing I ever bought.
I skate, surf and snowboard more then I walk, so it only made sense to get a board to get around town. Since it arrived I havent drove my car and most likely going to sell it.
This is the most dangerous board I ever had. The power on it is insane, you have to respect it. I am passing cars on the road.
Wheels are really good, you go over everything and absorbs a lot of vibration.
I wish board was wider, but thats just because I have big feet.
Broke couple belts already( thats the weak spot seems like), but they are selling belts for reasonable prices.
Biggest issue is heat, its often over 100farenheit here and the battery sometimes hits tempretures of 170-180farenheit, which might damage components in the long run. Not sure what the battery limit is, but trying to give it a break as much as I can on these hot days.
It took about 2weeks for the board to arrive it was well packaged.
Biggest disappointment was a random Debit: Foreign Transaction Surcharge of -35.96$ nowhere in the whole process you get any kind of hint that american transactions would be subjects to any kind of fees. Really left a bad taste in my mouth and made me quite frustrated. Rather increase the price of the board then hidden surcharges. Worried about buying additional belts now so I dont get surcharged again.

This board is awesome!! The Mini 3 Pro is an absolute beast. I got it because I had the mini 2 prior and while it is also an amazing board, it doesn’t have the torque to accelerate up some of the steeper section of the hill I live on. I wanted to try the upgraded Mini 3 Pro and it did not disappoint. It crushes hills, The sections I had previously stalled out on here and there when battery was low it would zip up with no problem. I could do 20mph UPHILL!! If you are looking for a short board with power to do just about anything, this is it!!

Great customer support from Tynee. Quick to answer questions and made purchasing the Mini 3 Pro so much easier. They’re also sending over a Stinger deck for a future deck swap (liked the Stinger deck size, but wanted to keep everything that was great about the Mini 3). The board itself arrived within 3 business days. Oh man! This thing is fast! Definitely take it slow at first, after about a week of getting used to it I’m comfortable in turbo mode, and it feels like the correct speed. Fast enough that it’s exhilarating, but not so nuts that I will be completely obliterated taking a spill. (With pads on of corse!) unprotected at top speed is terrifying and dangerous, I don’t recommend. I will still give it 5 stars, because I think it’s a skill issue and not the board. I have a hard time slowing down and turning quickly onto narrow pathways and sidewalks. So keep that in mind you’ll have to level up your skills to tame this beast!

I love the board - it's a great mini - Nice and compact. The range may be the only draw-back as I note the battery does discharge a bit faster than expected. I weigh in at around 68kg's / 150lbs and I can't say I get near what is advertised i.t.o. range/distance even in Mode 2. I do account for the modifications made re. 115mm ONSRA rubber wheels but this significant range decrease can't justify it. I still love the board and highly recommend it to those considering their first ES. The Tynee team is amazing and super helpful. I hope the future holds batteries with range increased for the mini series. 5-Stars regardless of range.

First electric skateboard. It's pure magic, just get it. I haven't come close to using it's full power. Ive ridden motorcycles for years and this is the most fun I've had on wheels. It's performed flawlessly throughout various conditions and surfaces, really just takes everything I throw at it. It's so fun it feels illegal. Get yours before it is. And wear a helmet. No one wants to change your diaper for the next 30 years.

I can honestly say that is truly is the Tesla of electric skateboards and the best e-board I have ever owned! I live in the UK and the roads here are terrible! Bumpy, stoney and most of the time wet! And yes I have soaked my board going to work also and it still works fine. I travel to the train station with this which should be a 25 minute walk but only takes me 5 minute’s riding this! The speed and torque are amazing!!! It’s so fast! I weigh just over 16 stone and it’s not a problem at all climbing hills and stuff. It’s also brilliant that you can adjust the speed settings to whatever mode out of 4 for when riding on the pavements or roads. I take it everywhere with me! I would highly recommend buying this if you are looking for a new electric skateboard

This is my second Electric skateboard. I went with the Tynee stinger as my first one and I absolutely love it to death. Wanted something smaller but equally as powerful. Glad I went with the Mini 3 pro. Couldn’t believe how much power is packed in this short board. Also didn’t think it would be as stable and comfortable as it is. I’m 6 ft tall and weigh 160 pounds. I can say the ride feels very comfortable and stable even at high speeds like 30 mph. I love Tynee and all the effort they put into their boards! I can’t recommend them enough. 100% satisfied with this purchase and will continue to buy and recommend them. They really are top notch when it comes to making electric skateboards and high quality products :)

I bought the Tynee Mini 2 in spring of this year as an upgrade in range, speed, and power of my Exway Wave. The Wave feels like a toy in comparison. The only thing I missed was the integrated light. (Wish Tynee figure would that one out. I wanna try shred lights but geez 75 dollars for 2 flashlights?) Unfortunately, I got caught in a downpour unexpectedly and the battery and esc became damaged and soon after stopped working. I had ridden it 1,800 miles without any issues. I loved it so much that another one was in my sights immediately, life without it wasn't the same. Luckily the upgraded Mini 3 and pro came out ahead of that. I loved the 33mph I got on the mini 2 but, being an adrenaline junkie and skilled skater, wanted a bit more speed for road riding and acceleration as well. 37mph (35 with 105s) gives me exactly what I wanted, and it's still stable at that speed, but does feel dangerous and thrilling. I traded the hydro wheels (unstable at speed, and I've never had that issue) for backfire 96mm then to backfire 105mm street wheels and thats the perfect match (35mph, still great acceleration, butter smooth ride, 18miles riding fairly aggressively, and necessary clearance for metal guards - scraped many times with the 96s). The 4 hour charge time is my only pseudo-complaint, would kill to have a fast charger option, that would sell out! Also different style grip to the mini 3 (and it's predecessors) would be appreciated. Also printing pro after mini 3 on board would make a lot of sense and differenciate those 2 models (besides the obviously bigger motors). But I love the deck and the new wheel well cut outs. It's familiar to me because of Mini 2 but with everything (besides headlights) that left me wanting - the added performance and the much needed waterproofing (which I will not be testing due to ptsd unfortunately). I carry saran wrap now to wrap the battery/esc in case of emergency (sounds stupid but it works flawlessly in times of need, leaves everything covered bone dry). I'm with Tynee for the life of the company or my own. Aiden is on top of things. And the boards are top notch. I say, "God this board is so bad ass," more often than im willing to admit. I will have a second one (back up) as soon as I can afford it. I don't ever want to be left without!

Honestly was not expecting much out of this. I am 6 ft 4 and 280 lbs. my dream has always been to ride an electric skateboard but due to my size I figured it wasn’t possible. I paid up the extra $ for the pro version and I can’t believe how amazing it has been.
I commute to work every day on it, and at least once a week I go on a trip with it. It is scary fast with good range for even someone my size. The tynee 3 pro is now my favorite thing I own. Thank you so much for making it, and giving it such over the top specs for people like me.

Despite my falls, blunder, and injury I still get up to ride again and most importantly due to the bipolar weather in the place where I reside in Guam tynee truly have done the impossible what other brand boards have ultimately failed to do waterproof protection safe to say its best to ride in slow speeds while having the rain poured on you.
Forgot to mention the shredlights sl-fx it does wonders for me in a way chose the colors green and purple to represent my favorite anime cyberpunk edgerunners based off on the two characters David and Lucy. So far it has been my daily commute and it has done wonders for me.

I own this board, i can say that with out a doubt the biggest thing about the board that people will notice over time is the sheer weight of the board for how small it is. Everything else literally everything is absolutely on point for what this board is trying to do and then some. The sheer amount of speed it has and the torque is something i will talk about and compare too for years to come. This thing can max out for my rider weight is at 36 MPH i cant believe this board can go that fast and maintain the torque with it, the biggest downside is the faster you ride or the bigger the hill gradient the more battery drain the board will take a hit at in a major way. I can suggest that you learn to lean further into your take off putting more weight into your front wheels to take off more weight on the motor side (back of the board) that will take off some the torque needed to propel you forward sacrificing the least amount of watts on the batteries giving you some what longer range time ( so you don't have to charge it as often)

I've got Tynee Mini 3 Pro for my second board and this is everything I've been hoping for: cruiser-sized beast with good range and terrific power. I am over 90kg rider and this thing flies even uphill! The reviews from KAMI, ScottD and Kwan are all accurate; it's just great. If you are in doubt, don't be: it's well worth it!

First electric longboard! Amazing power and deck. I live in a place with lots of hills and this board can effortlessly climb them up while maintaining a velocity of aprox 40 km/h (20 mph). This directly affects range, as I also weigh around 80 Kg (176 lb) and I get around 20 km, which isn't a lot, but I drive very aggresively and through hills all day.

Small, but crazy!
Im a 40yo guy, who recently discovered the joy of e-skateboarding. I started a year ago with a heavy all terrain board and Tynee Mini 3 pro is my 2nd board - something that I could use for commuting within the city and carry on my back when needed (e.g. upon entering a shop).
Tynee is more than I expected!
That board can handle anything city od Wroclaw throws at me (cracked sidewalks, tramway track crossings, even old cobblestone). I also tried it on my favorite trails outside the city and it goes pretty much anywhere my old all-terrain board did - nice surprise!
(note: I've got the cloudwheel option)
The range is amazing.
I couldn't believe it when after ~1h of riding I still had all bars full. The only way to get them down for me is to go off-road. But even then tynee has more juice than any of my other e-devices.
Responsive handling
Switching from a big all-terain board which drove like a tank, I can certainly appreciate the agility. However it takes some practice to figure out the proper foot arrangment during turns to avoid scracthing the back wheel with my toes - funny feeling :)
And the deck feels great when riding barefoot!
Power - more than enough!
I'm actually using only 30% of acceleration and 60% of power. Great for a relaxed ride for a chilled guy like me. It's good to know however there is always more if I need it (or if I apply the off-road upgrade)
Adjustable (software) settings
- I didn't realize how much help they'll be.
Having had a board before, I developed many habits, e.g. preference for slow & smooth acceleration and 'ideal' top cruising speed at 25km/h. It was no problem to configure that exact driving style and make small adjustments as I learn more about what the board is capable of.
In short:
I got Mini3 pro 2 weeks ago, it turned out to be more than expected and it feels like a start of a great adventure! I totally recommend it!

Well what a board! Definitely worth the wait! Seriously incredible power, torque and speed! Puts my longboard to shame. I would definitely build your confidence up before going straight to Turbo mode as the acceleration is almighty!

But honestly, you will not regret buying the Mini 3 Pro! Having a useable kicktail plus living in Wimbledon, London which is full of hills, my Pro just keeps on powering up those hills with ease.

growin up riding boards in an area with alot of hills i always dreaded having to walk with my board all the way back to my house, but with the tynee board i can enjoy just the fun part of riding boards all the time which is going really fast and not have to push. i had some doubts initially, not knowing whether or not the board would perform well going up hills but those thoughts quickly faded once i realized that you can rip this board just about anywhere! for some context i weigh 180 pounds, the mileage and speed have been very accurate to what is stated on the website overall this board exceeded my expectations and i am very satisfied with this purchase.

My first E-Board!!! This thing is a monster. I weight around 230lbs and .. I have no issues going up hills. I highly recommend this board. Next I will need to get some wheels that slide .. I am getting use to the speed, but still in the beginner speed mode.

Great board; I've been skateboarding since a kid and it feels natural from day one - but don't be fooled, this is no kid's toy! Treat it with respect because the power is no joke! I live in a beach town and opted for the hydrowheels which handle cracks and pebbles just fine, even some wet conditions. Comfortable ride and stable at high speeds. Ridiculously fast to top speed in every mode, will perform exactly as advertised.
Braking is intuitive out of the box.
One thing I was not expecting, as a traditional skateboard rider coming to the esk8 world, was how heavy it was, which took some getting used to; but after some practice I am able to kick-turn the ~25lb board with ease, since the center of gravity on the board feels proper and balanced.

My Tynee Mini 2 has been a pleasant surprise. I’ve never owned a short board before but found that the concave of the deck helped my feet more planted than expected based on how small the deck is. Kick tail works well and the puck underneath prevents the deck from major damage due to being used so often. Rear integrated brake light was a great addition although front headlights would also be appreciated so that I don’t have to install any Shredlights. The top speed is higher than I’d like to go due to the short wheelbase. I think torque suffers a little bit because of however the electric components and gearing is configured out of the box and I think I would prefer being able to get to speed quickly on a short board instead of being able to go close to 30 mph so I immediately started using larger pulleys. Wheels, bushing and pivot cups seem generic but serviceable. As a heavier rider (220+), I think a harder bushing option as an add-on would be appreciated. The manual that came with the board was for the Tynee Ultra instead of the Tynee Mini 2 so I had to look up how to operate the taillight. I really appreciate the option to purchase extended warranty on an expensive product who’s dependability I’m trusting my life to everytime that I ride it. More brands should follow suit.

I wanted to wait a bit before posting a review to see if the joy wore off with time, it didn't. From the moment I unpacked this board it was clear this is no toy. I've used it now for 3 weeks so still early days but I get such pleasure riding the board. It's halved the time it takes me to get to work compared to using Bus and tube in London. Still some days I leave early in the morning when the sun is shining to ride the long scenic route. My e-bike is collecting dust, no worries if the board is going to be where I left it after work, the board sits under my desk. I find the short board perfect size. It's just bigger than a standard skateboard but with a longer wheel base (no nose) and it feels very stable around 20 MPH. It rides fine past that speed but 20 MPH is the sweet spot for me. Fun and exciting but low risk. Braking is very good which adds to the sense of security. I have the hydro wheels, which I have not yet fitted, and I hope these will be my standard set-up to help cope with London's fickle weather.

Got this board to ride to work and its perfect. Love it! Hobbywing esc is goated and ultra smooth. Great build quality. Very quiet and turbo mode is honestly way more power than a board this size needs. Its so fast... Great range. Everything was better than expected. Definitely recommend!
