Tynee Mini 3 Max FAQ
What's the difference between the Belt Drive and Gear Drive?
For the belt drive and gear drive. The main difference is that if you use gear drive. you don’t need to handle the belts issue. If you use belt drive. You need to replace the belt after the belt breaks. And the gear drive has less rolling resistance than belt drive. So the gear drive has about 10% more torque and range than the belt drive. You will get a little better riding experience on gear drive.
But for the belt drive. It’s cheaper in price. And it’s easier for you to swap different kinds of wheels. And replacing the belt is easy.
So for most customers. Get belt drive is totally good enough. And we have sold much more belt drive boards than gear drive boards. And for those who don’t want to deal with the belts issues and want the best riding experience. We suggest them get the gear drive. Thank you
