The Cloudwheels arrived a month after I received the skateboard. You can feel a significant difference when riding with the Cloudwheels. The bumps on the ground are absorbed really well, and at first, you might think the board has become less stable. But you quickly get used to it. They provide a very safe riding experience, and I’m very happy with the purchase. The package also included additional bearings and drive belts. Both were very useful and probably saved me a lot of time and money because I already wore out a drive belt, which I had to replace. The shipping would have taken a bit longer otherwise. I have a pretty wild riding style and I’ve ridden in all weather conditions, which is why the drive belt broke at one point. Things like leaves, branches, and damp stuff, you know, the kind of debris that falls in autumn, got caught in it. I’ve even ridden in the rain. So, I don’t really go easy on the board, and that’s why the drive belt tore. Anyway i love it! Thank you so much for developing and selling this Bord! Much Love from Germany

First, it's worth giving credit where it's due: Tynee's customer service was stellar. Despite initial stock shortages, they expedited the shipping of my wheels and even helped ensure I had the correct pulleys—something I had overlooked during my order. Their support was prompt, and their professionalism set a positive tone for the experience.
Positives:
When it comes to the noise level, the Cloudwheel Rovers shine. Whether riding on rough roads, bricks, or even cobblestones, the wheels produce a muffled, almost silent sound that significantly enhances the quality of the ride. This makes them ideal for riders who want to maintain a low profile, especially in busy public spaces.
In terms of grip, the Cloudwheel Rovers perform well on uneven surfaces and rougher roads. They also manage decently on dirt and loose gravel, offering an upgrade over standard wheels like Boosted clones in these situations. The tread design, while not drastically improving grip in wet conditions, does a better job of dispersing water away from the rider.
The aesthetic appeal of the Rovers is another plus. The variety of colors, particularly the sleek black version I tested, adds a stylish touch to any board. Their look is undeniably attractive and, at first glance, makes them seem like a solid upgrade.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the praise ends there. The biggest issue with the Cloudwheel Rovers is the contact patch. The design fails to deliver a flat surface where the wheel meets the road, meaning the wheels don’t grip as well as they should. This becomes glaringly obvious the moment you step on your board—you can feel the instability. Only the center of the wheel makes solid contact with the ground, which translates into a slippery, unreliable experience when riding on smoother asphalt or streets.
What’s worse, the wheels feel like they lose shape at higher speeds. Due to the soft material used, the wheels deform as you accelerate, resulting in a wobbly, unstable ride. Although the box states a top speed of 40 km/h, even at this lower limit, the instability is alarming. Any attempt to push beyond this will send you straight to "wobble-town," which is dangerous for even experienced riders.
When it comes to carving and turning, the experience is disappointing. Instead of a responsive and smooth ride, it feels like you're gliding on plastic bags that warp and shift under pressure. The wheels deform significantly when you lean into turns, creating an unsettling, disconnected feeling between you and the ground.
Off-road Performance is mediocre at best. While the Rovers are slightly better than Boosted clones on dirt trails or gravel paths, they still fall short of being a legitimate off-road option. Vibration damping is insufficient, and unless you have a board with additional suspension, the ride on rough terrain will be far from pleasant.
The Cloudwheel Rovers simply don't live up to the expectations set by their price point and design. Yes, they’re quiet, and yes, they look fantastic—but their poor road grip, shape deformation at speed, and unstable handling make them difficult to recommend. For casual cruising at low speeds in public spaces, they might serve their purpose, but for anyone looking for high-speed stability, reliable carving, or serious off-road capabilities, these wheels are a disappointment.
After just a few rides, I found myself reverting back to the 105mm Boosted clones, which offer a far better overall experience. Unfortunately, the Cloudwheel Rovers will be relegated to the shelf.

Avis Français :
Whaoooouh !!!
