Overall the CloudWheel Rover 165R itself is good. I posed this review much later after the purchase to give them a true test.
Yes, it is a bit harder than Pneumatic wheels but thats a given. However I have noticed that the added weight from the wheels really helps it pick up the speed when going down slopes.
HUGE negative - the "IWONDER" pulleys that come with the Cloudwheels. The design has a critical flaw, the small plastic nubs that hold the bearing inside just get crushed after ~2 month use if you drive over anything remotely gravely and makes them unusable. I've marked it in the second photo. Even if you'd purchase new pulleys they too would get crushed in due time. This is an issue you can just avoid by looking up compatible pulleys that do not have this design flaw and instead fit snugly in a slot without nubs.
Now I have to look for new pulleys from elsewhere that do not have this flaw.

These are really beautiful tires, I really love how they look like. However these are definitely NOT all terrain tires, they are very hard, way harder than the original stock tires provided by Tynee with the Explorer. So while they look good, I believe the stock Explorer tires are better in terms of grip and comfort.

Love these wheels! Definitely not quite as comfortable as pneumatics but I love not worrying about getting flats. Also these wheels are super grippy when carving on pavement. Definitely would recommend!

4.5 stars but I’ll round up. Ordered the cloudwheels for my explorer. Arrived quickly in a couple of packages. Installation was easy and they ride well.
The loss of half a star is because they do ride worse than the air tires i replaced. $250 is a lot for a decrease in ride quality, but the piece of mind of never popping a tire is worth it for me though.

Good wheels and fun ride. Mixed experience. On one side you have the wonderful experience of NO flat tires. They are solid and perfom really wel on trails and rough riding. On the other hand they are less comfortable that pneumatics, you can feel stones and cracks more, and they tend to slide more easily. I am starting to experiment on the sliding, it can be fun but you have to be careful. I would overall recomend the tires with the above comments as a caveat
